RGEMI's vision of church ministry to youth is about nurturing and mentoring leadership toward intergenerational church ministry. Today's youths are trapped in the world of social media. It is reported that 74.8 % of youths 13 years old and above are actively using social media, spending an average of 2 hours and 27 minutes each day. Therefore, this is a time for the Church of Jesus Christ everywhere to rise to the challenge and invest in resourceful activities that will shape young people’s heart for ministry and eternity.
Redeeming Grace's upcoming Youth Leadership Day event is being held on August 24, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 3::00 PM. Previously, the congregation's youths brought in their friends and family and spent the day in devotional, seminar, group presentation, leadership game, concert, a feature film, and an overcomer challenge for their spiritual journey. This program was intentionally put together to engage our young people's heart to become sensitive regarding their true identity in Christ, and their lifetime priority, and it paid off.
We heard from our youths and it is good news! They totally enjoyed the whole day and they want to be part of similar events in the future. So, plan to register and be with us on August 24. Now, we beat social media for one day, and that's wonderful. But, we need to continue to keep our youths actively seeking fellowship with Christ and His people. Let's keep the momentum!
Our praises are offered to the Lord God who blessed us with the successful event; and, we are thankful to each team member who continue to play a vital role in its realization. May the Lord bless us all!
Above, members of the RGCFworship team for the youth Event on August 6, 2022: Hallenah, Jessica, Jeseth opened the youth event in morning praise and worship. Come worship with us on Sunday morning and rejoice in delightful worship, solos, and awesome praise and thanksgiving to the Lord God Almighty.
"I write to you, young people, because you are strong; the word of God lives in you, and you have defeated the Evil One." (1 John 2:14, GNT)
Hallenah shared a morning reflection on our foundations for hope in times of trial: "we turn to God in difficult times, " she said.
Ph.D. Candidate in Leadership, David Daniel, challenges youths to be the difference in a culture that's idolizes everything abnormal.
Group facilitator, Jan M. Cabiles, leads his group in discussion of Bible texts relevant to their call to be different.
The first team to present: Marinez and Jeseth were greatly excited to share the content of their study and discovery.
Leadership game facilitator, Lyn, brought a tough biblical challenge to the floor. Everyone was caught in the excitement.
The feature film challenged participants to choose a different course in life: Be chosen and be saved at the end of the journey.
