Redeeming Grace

RGEM International believes and proclaims the Scripture instructing the Church of its perpetual responsibility across continents,  and in the United States of America, to pray for the peace of the nations.  We are taught in 1 Timothy 2:1-2, "First of all, then, I urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgiving be offered for everyone, for kings and all those in authority—so that we may lead tranquil and quiet lives in all godliness and dignity ."  

Accordingly, we deplore the culture of violence affecting all families in our homeland. We pray for the  safety of all elected officials, law enforcement authority and first responders, the men and women in our armed forces, for the peace and unity of the nation, and for the security of all the candidates during the election season.  May the peace of God rest upon us, and all those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart!  God bless the United States of America!

  "When all that generation had been gathered to their fathers, another generation arose after them who did not know the LORD nor the work which He had done for Israel," (NKJV).

Here, we have an account of the saddest historical event in the whole Bible. The primary assignment given to the nation Israel by God in Deuteronomy 6:7 was to train their children--but, in just a matter of decades they fail this leadership test. The same leadership challenge faces the church in our day and age.  We, at Redeeming Grace, are focused on equipping the people of God in the whole counsel of God, including our youths. Paul Cedar wrote in his book, Strength in Servant Leadership: "God has not called us to the primary ministry of taking care of ourselves. Instead, He has entrusted some of His precious people to our care. They are His people--the sheep of His pasture"  This is a task RGEMI takes seriously as we engage our young people in doing ministry--today.
